USABILITY
For the case itself, you install it by simply placing your airpods case into the Elago waterproof case. To access your airpods, you simply fold down the opening and open the lid of the airpods case. Once you are done, the opening folds back up to protect the Airpods case and prevent accidental openings of the Airpods case.
I have been using the Elago waterproof hang case for about two weeks. I leave the case hooked onto my backpack, and I have yet to experience any problems with the Airpods case falling out or any similar issues.

The case is also made to protect the airpods and its case from impact, regardless of the point of impact. However, I do notice that the case does tend to attract lint in your pockets, which I would say is normal for silicone. Definitely keep this in mind, and do get a lighter colour if you want to ensure that the lint is hidden well.
VERDICT
I really love this little case for the airpods, as it adds a whole lot more to an already impressive pair of bluetooth earphones. Not only does it protect my airpods and its case, it also adds waterproofing to it, which many Airpods cases on the market today lacks.
The Elago waterproof hang case also comes in many different colours ranging from white, red, dark blue (Jean Indigo), night glow blue, to black, which is the one I have here.
One unique colour is the night glow blue, which is a colour that glows in the dark. It looks white in daylight, but once it gets dark, it shines as a bright light blue. It is a unique look if you want to spice up the looks of your airpods.
This provides a whole lot more options to dressing up your airpods, and you can pick one that fits you.
